First Born

I figured I needed a post all about the princess of the house.
This girl totally rocks my world. At 27 months old she has a crazy good vocabulary. We have entire conversations and I no longer feel like I am at home alone. We talk about everything that is going on and I especially cherish the talks we have in the car.
She is totally hot and cold. She loves a good cuddle and lately has been unexpectedly coming up to me, grabbing my face and saying "momma, I lub you." Melt my heart! She still has the typical 2 year old meltdown when something doesnt go her way or you even mention the word "no." I suppose that will be a work in progress over the next 15 years!
She plays well with her friends as long as they respect her space :) She definitely does not like other kids in her personal space and has given a couple of them a smack in the face or two. Im learning to manage that behavior now! She knows all of her friends names and will ask to pray for each and every one of them at night.......an once we have done that she will ask to pray for the couch, window, her bed, her babies......she sure tries to prolong bedtime :)
She goes to bed at 8pm and I wake her up at 8:30 every morning. Craziness! She still take about an hour and half to two hour nap in the afternoon. She is wearing size 2T clothes and still in size 4 diapers. She will take herself to the potty a few times a day , but only on her time. I havent pushed the issue a lot since Logan is still so small and requires so much time and attention from me. I figure we will start in a few months. She loves her brother to pieces and will run into the room if she hears him crying. She will also, very gently, put his binky back into his mouth. So precious!
She plays with her babies 90 percent of the time, giving the rest of her toys very little attention. She loves to change her babies diapers (using Logans diapers), swaddle them, rock them, feed them bottles and burp them. Pretty certain she is going to have a football team of kids when she grows up!
She is a very dainty girl and does not like getting dirty. She refuses to go outside barefoot and when dirt gets into her sandals she takes her shoes off and cleans her feet immediately.
Maybe having a little brother will bring out the rough and toughness in her, but I am completely ok having a clean little girl!
She is the love of my life and look forward to watching her grow! Love you bunches babe!
